Celia Ingesson’s founder story
Born in Sweden and shaped by New York’s creative pulse, Celia Ingesson has walked the sharp edges of the global fashion industry.
The early career took her into some of the world’s biggest fashion houses, where she designed high-profile collections and travelled constantly as a design executive / trend forecaster — a life that swung between creativity, long-haul flights and the more corrosive side of fashion. That intensity eventually pushed her to breaking point, leading to a health scare that forced her to stop, reassess and rebuild.

Why
Greeningline ?
“I’ve always been inspired by nature (fortunate to grow up close to greenery and water). I’ve spent a large part of my life traveling, often for work and later-on combining work with recovery, to cope with the stress of everything I’ve witnessed of pollution, injustices and horrific working conditions – in the name of fashion.
After a health scare I started to question - How can I / We Keep Doing This? I realized that I no longer could stay quiet, I felt a calling to use my voice, knowledge and expertise in the Intersection of Fashion and Health.
The idea of Greeningline was about going toxic free from the materials to color, packaging and everything else, or at least try my best to ensure that what we wear is as healthy for our skin as it is for the planet.
More Than Clothing
I aim to blend the "soul" of ancient textile knowledge with modern aesthetics and functionality… Greeningline’s mission is reviving ancient techniques like plant-color-dyes paired with natural materials and unique hand-loomed-textiles. Focusing on slow, sustainable, small-scale-production. Incorporating plant wisdom working with local artisans, which I see as a redefinition of luxury. Products with personality - telling the story of earth and of the hands that made them, (including mine)… merging traditional skills with contemporary design.
A Big Part of Greeningline is Sharing experiences — mine and other women’s — and turning that into learning.

About the Company
A brand and platform for women who aspire to live a healthy life. Don't want to add more waste and toxins to the earth or to their bodies, but who are just as demanding about comfort, practicality and aesthetics.
Greeningline launched in 2020 from Scandinavia with a webshop, (shipping globally), and a few select retailers like; NK Department Stores, Wellness and Yoga Studios as well as holistic hospitality. The brand grows organically through Popups, Trunk Shows and Markets in the US, Europe and Asia.
Greeningline doesn’t work with collections, seasons or sale, instead it’s all about small-scale production, less-specific-sizing to reduce waste and products are delivered in fabric bags with care labels in cotton and recycled paper hangtags. Greeningline doesn’t offer free shipping, but are happy to help You find your personal staples.
